I use one 1920x1080 and one 1680x1050 monitor. To get everything right requires some basic math. Monitor 2 starts from pixel 1921 horisontally. So you will have to calculate where the MFD's will end up on your second monitor. The 620x620 above is the size of the MFD. Save the.lua (that you can call anything) in the DCS World Config.

Good evening, After a 3 year Hiatus I finally decided to get back in to the glorious game that is DCS world.
Does anybody else experience micro stutter in game in single player missions? Its very irritating and more prominent in 2.2, while I appreciate this is an alpha/beta I just wanted to see if anybody else has been having the same experiences as I have.I'm only on a laptop at the moment as I sold the graphics card I had in my PC in anticipation of the Nvidia Volta series later this year. I have a sneaking suspicion it might be CPU speed but as mentioned I am unable to test my laptop against my pc which has significantly higher clockspeeds. Its not a resolution issue I get the same stutter using the laptop screen at its native 1080p and at 1440p on my monitor.
I also do not think it is a ram issue as this happens on maps with not an awful lot going on to maps with loads of friendly and enemy AI. I have played around with the game settings every which way and always seem to experience stutter. My specs arei7 7820HK @ 3.5 GHZ,Mobile GTX 1070,16Gb DDR4 Ram,Toshiba 250GB NVME (operating System),Samsung 960 Evo 500GB (DCS Install)Any help or insight in to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Yeah my PC is well due an upgrade I'm still rocking an i7 2600K, but as you said the ram prices are just ludicrous at the moment so I am also holding off. Only reason I have a laptop as well is because I work away from home a lot which saddens me greatly Being away from my sim setup at home.Yeah man Tomcat is gonna be sick, I am also excited for the Hornet though. Seen there bigger brothers in action taking off and landing 24/7 when I was last deployed out in the gulf it was really something.
